The Ritchey Comp Trail stem is our first stem designed specifically for modern trail bikes with 5-6" (approx. 130-160mm) travel and wide handlebars. It's not just a beefed-up version of our other models - we've completely redesigned the stem's clamp to accommodate a wide range of riser bar deflections.

The result is a dramatic increase in stiffness and strength compared to the competition. The extra wide collar takes cockpit rigidity to a new level and ensures absolutely confident control of the bike in challenging terrain.
