Nearly fifty years ago, Tom Ritchey, his mentor Jobst Brandt, and a group of friends spent endless hours in the deep woods of Northern California, adventuring on the forgotten trails, broken asphalt, and rough gravel roads of the mountains surrounding Butano State Park. Tom still rides these routes today, and it was this topography and pioneering riding that inspired the original Butano handlebar.

Since its launch a few years ago, the Butano has gained a following among gravel enthusiasts and road riders alike. Its slight flare offers off-road riders a higher level of control and confidence compared to traditional road frames, but isn't so radical as to put off more conservative road riders with its aesthetics.

The SuperLogic Butano Ridge is the answer to the call from demanding riders for a carbon version of this concept. We took the original Butano idea, gave it the premium care of the top-of-the-line SuperLogic, and created an integrated handlebar and stem combo. The result is a lightweight, minimalist (“stealth”) and incredibly stiff cockpit that can handle rough terrain with ease, even when it becomes a really fast ride.

• Top-notch ergonomics: The stunning design is complemented by maximum comfort thanks to a shallow drop, short reach and a pleasant backsweep. The flattened top (ergo-aero) provides logical and natural palm rest.
