Description and specifications
Product description
Titanium is renowned for its resistance to corrosion and fatigue, exceptional ride comfort and longevity, making the Corsa Strasbourg Ti a great choice for riders looking for a versatile gravel bike that they can rely on in tough terrain and will last a lifetime.
Universal derailleur hanger (UDH)
Every Eddy Merckx Corsa model is equipped with a universal derailleur hanger (UDH), which is a standardized derailleur mounting system.
This system allows for easy derailleur replacement regardless of brand. UDH also ensures precise and consistent shifting while reducing the risk of damage in the event of a fall or impact.
Handmade in Italy
The "Corsa" name has been a guarantee of top-quality steel bikes since the founding of the Eddy Merckx Bikes brand in 1980.
Until recently, the Corsa frames were welded by Johan Vranckx, who had been building frames for Eddy Merckx since he was 16 and learned his trade at the Italian workshop De Rosa.
After Johan's retirement, we returned to our roots: Corsa steel and titanium frames are now once again handmade in Italy.
Gravel geometry
The Strasbourg's geometry is designed to handle even the most demanding gravel rides. The low center of gravity gives the bike a calm and highly maneuverable performance that lets you tackle even the most rugged terrain with confidence. The Corsa Strasbourg can accommodate tires up to 48mm wide.
In addition, it offers mounting points on both the top and down tube, which expands the options for attaching frame bags and other accessories.
Color-coordinated Wolf Tooth accessories
Corsa Ti models can be fitted with Wolf Tooth tuning components and small parts, allowing riders to add subtle personal style to their bike.
These precision-crafted accessories are available in carefully selected colors. They perfectly complement the natural surface of titanium, creating a tasteful, unified look and combining functionality with a clean, timeless aesthetic.
Columbus Hyperion Titanium Tubes
The Corsa Titanium uses Columbus Hyperion material – an exclusive titanium alloy developed by Italian tubeset specialist Columbus.
Hyperion combines low weight, high rigidity and exceptional strength, which translates into a lively, efficient and comfortable driving performance.
Each tube is shaped and brushed with the utmost precision, ensuring a top-notch finish. The result is a frame that feels light and responsive, yet durable enough to last a lifetime.
