Product description
CHALLENGE tube LATEX Cross/Gravel 700x33-42, valve 48 mm
The only seamless latex tube on the market. Challenge Latex is made from one piece, so there are no seams, bumps or creases to spoil the roundness and smoothness of the ride. The result is a smooth, balanced ride that is hard to find in conventional tubes.
If you've tuned your gravel or cross bike from the tire to the tire pressure, the tube is the last piece of the puzzle worth paying attention to.
The latex tube is lighter, thinner and more flexible than the classic butyl tube. In practice, this means greater comfort, lower rolling resistance and better protection against punctures. The tire adapts better to the surface
Most tubes have a seam around the circumference that shows up as small bumps when riding. You won't find that with the Challenge. The seamless construction means an even wall around the circumference and a smoother ride at speed.
The tube has a 48mm aluminum valve that fits medium profile rims. For deep rims , a Challenge Presta valve extension may be required, which fits directly onto 48mm and 60mm aluminum valves.
For cross and gravel, this is a range that will cover most tires that belong on such a bike. From the more agile 33 mm to the more comfortable 42 mm. The inner tube weight for this variant is 80 g (±10%).
